To view the individual pages below, you must have a lab wiki account. The username should be the same as your lablog account. Contact Sai for more details.
General information and quick links
- Basic Wiki tutorials
- Walsworth group contact info (including lab roles)
- Walsworth group accounts: info for shared email, Overleaf, Notion, etc. accounts
- Walsworth lab Google Drive experiment folders This is a link through which anyone can view or add (but not delete) files to the Walsworth Google Drive which is administered by UMD. Please store important code, design, and other files here.
- Accessing Walsworth group NAS drive - 70 TB drive for hosting large datasets and results from past papers
- Lab equipment inventory: use the following pages to keep track of high-value equipment in the lab, in case some are unused
- QTC inventory
- General inventory
- Laser inventory
- Wave generator (Pulse Streamer, AWG, etc.) inventory
- NV Diamond database (on Notion)
- Archive of old diamond database Includes info on some previously used but lost diamonds.

Camera
- Lock-in Camera
- Basler Camera
Computers
- New device network registration required to allow computer or other electronics to connect via Ethernet. Otherwise can only connect via Wi-Fi with eduroam and your personal credentials.
- Jack activation form needs to be done separately from registering new computers.
- Jacks are controlled by a different group than EIT. The best way to start this process is to open a ticket with Div IT (not EIT) at itsupport@umd.edu. Ayla Hurley of EIT (alh42@umd.edu) can also make the request.
- Windows 10 Enterprise 64-bit ISO (Terpware): download and use to create a bootable USB which can be used for installing on new computers.
- Device Mac and IP address
- Install PC software using admin account
- Connect experiment equipment through Ethernet
- Pulse Sequence Simulations & Tutorials (JJ, Sonja)
- COMSOL & ANSYS Electronics (including ANSYS HFSS)
- LabView
- ANSYS Zemax (for optics simulations)
- Gaussian beam propagator code
- Magnet alignment code
- Jupyter Notebook tutorial (JJ)
Fab Lab tutorials & information
- Snail Phantom and Omega Loop for Ramsey Imager (Zechuan, Sept 2022)
- Maskless lithography for MW/RF loops with Heidelberg MLA150 (Tao, Sept 2023)
